Casa Azucar is located on a private stretch of beach. To the South are vast snorkel beds and no immediate neighbors. To the North, only one house with quiet retired neighbors.

The master bedroom has a door that opens out onto the 2nd story deck. Enjoy sunrise over the Caribbean from the pillow-topped queen-size bed.

The rooftop observation deck has a lovely ramada with seating. Imagine evening sunsets with a glass of wine - just you and the Caribbean.

The spacious kitchen has a 6 burner gas stove, large refrigerator/freezer, ample storage and vistas of the lagoon on the west and ocean on the east.

Kitchen includes:

• Purified water in 5 gallon dispenser
• Authentic Mexican cookbooks

There are small grocery stores in Mahahual (15 km away) where you can pick up produce, tortillas and other fresh items.

The kitchen is part of a great room with native hardwood dining table and chairs for six - and bar with barstools. The glass doors open onto a second story deck (pictured below). The windows provide expansive views of the sea and let you enjoy the Caribbean trade winds.

View from ocean-front deck looking towards snorkeling spots that most tourists must book tours to see - you can enjoy it on your own. Enjoy a drink on the equipe leather chairs and table or a siesta on the hammock.

Casa Azucar is a new house with new palm trees on the lot. However, two palapas with tables provide ample shade on this sandy beach.

• Minimum of 5 days rental. If you want to rent for less than 5 days, there is an additional cleaning fee of $75
• Security deposit - $250
• Additional persons over 6 -- $16 charge per person per day .

Floor plan - first level

The first floor has a large entry way and two bedrooms that open directly out onto the beach.

Each bedroom has a queen size bed and closet space.

The first floor bath has a Talavera sink and tiled walk in shower with mexican tiled accents.

The second story has two bedrooms. One with queen size bed and one with two sets of bunk beds - or space for 4.

The deck has hammocks from which to enjoy both a good book and better view.

The bathroom has a large walk-in shower with glass tiled walls and travertine above counter sink.

Enjoy the caribbean on your own private beach - wave washed sandy beach, no rocks and minutes walk from amazing shore snorkeling.

This upstairs bathroom has glass tile, Macedonian stone sink and lots of natural light.
