If, for example, the boat captain is on his days off, there won't be local dives. If for some reason, a dive boat is not going out from Placer, Mahahual is 30 minutes away and has more dive operators and therefore more opportunities to catch a boat out. We are in constant contact with them and can help you arrange trips. The good news is that when the stars are aligned right, you walk 20 yards to the boat.
